Whose way?

Here are a few thought provoking questions that should have us thinking more spiritual rather than carnal. Has Jesus made a way for homosexuals to get married? Has Jesus made a way for women to have abortions? Has Jesus made a way for people to fornicate? Has Jesus made a way for spouses to commit adultery? If your answers are no, then you’re thinking spiritually. Since Jesus hasn’t made a way for these sins to be committed, then why are we making ways for them? We should think like Christ, not satan. As Jesus believers we should abhor sin; in every aspect. Satan is making sin more comfortable and that should not be acceptable among believers. Be blessed.

What do you proclaim?

So many people in society are easily and boldly proclaiming their opinions about their political affiliation, sororities, fraternities, brands, employers, schools, sports teams, ect… In other words, we shouldn’t proclaim our favorite shows, teams, political thoughts, and other things more than we proclaim and read the Word of God. The Word is out strength not rumor magazines and gossip. Now, I know it’s only opinions and everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and beliefs; but why is being a disciple of Jesus the Christ so hard to openly proclaim? I am a disciple of Jesus Christ and I’m proud to worship and serve him. I often say until you’re in a certain situation, you cannot say what you would or wouldn’t do. I do believe that I would die for professing Jesus name as my Lord and Savior. I’m sometimes criticized for my faith and my unwillingness to deny Christ. I urge all of you to also pray for Holy boldness and stand firm in your faith. I feel that satan has too many mouthpieces. He’s using speakers both nationally and locally and they’re sometimes unaware. We all talk about unnecessary things at times and just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s right. (Philippians 4:8 says Whatsoever things are true, Whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things). So I challenge all my readers to meditate on this Holy Scripture and evaluate if you’re truly thinking the right thoughts and also saying the right things. I’ll be the first to say that I have thoughts the wrong thoughts and said the wrong things but Holy Scriptures are here for sound doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). We must prioritize our thoughts and feed our Spirit with the most essential bread: the bread of life. We must think of Holy things more than distracting things. (1 Thessalonians 5:22 says Abstain from all appearance of evil). The common things in society today are mostly evil. You basically cannot watch tv without seeing some form of formication, adultery, homosexuality, incest, abide, rape, or some other form of violence being promoted and justified. The radio has an open mic policy for satan to spread degrading and subtle deceptions. If you don’t feed your  Spirit with the Word of God, you will easily be deceived. Ignorance is not and excuse once you’ve heard the Gospel of Christ. We often mix up good deeds and Holy Spirit obedience. If you are doing good deeds simply because someone is looking or you want recognition; your reward will not be added in Heaven. Those who are obedient to the Holy Spirit and who help those in need without needing recognition will surely have their rewards in Heaven. The Lord has been too good for us to not openly and boldly declare his wondrous works, his mighty power, love, and saving grace. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, crucified, buried, and the third day resurrected with All power in his hand. Just believe this story and allow Jesus to be Lord of your life. Be blessed.
